Getting Ready

With a week and a half to go we're busy getting a few last things ready. The garage got a little (OK, a LOT) out of control over the last year as we stowed away many of Maddox's baby things and now it's all coming back in. At last the garage is back to the point where we can actually put a car in it! Woohoo! Here are a few pics of things getting set back up with Baby Rakoz 2.0's stunt double standing in. This little guy/gal was a nice gift to Maddox from Aunt Rhacelle and we've been trying to tell Maddox about the baby a lot lately. This typically results in Maddox rubbing his own belly and/or pressing the doll's hand a few dozen times to hear it say "Momma." I think Maddox will have all the extra noise he can handle very soon........

Speaking of noise, it's always interesting to see which toys end up being favorites. Maddox is a big fan of the old school wheeled popcorn popper thingy. In fact, he was playing with it bright and early this morning in the hallway, as Nicole was "trying" to sleep in.

And he also loves the rocket, and seems to think he can stand on it at times to reach the light switches. Here's the stunt double testing it out, it was a busy evening for her/him.
