Edit/Update: OK, I won't be kicking things up a notch after all. Still think we see some snow late sat. afternoon, but it won't hang on long with a strong warm front pushing in for heavy rains sunday and monday, and wind.

TeagueCast time! Maybe some wet snow mixing in tonight, but the big ticket item on the menu is for the weekend as modified arctic air pushes down into Eastern WA friday and saturday. Then an upper level low scoots down the coast later on saturday and brings in some fairly cold air directly from the north, and also gets some Gorge outflow going.

As of Wednesday afternoon the Portland National Weather Service is not calling for any accumulation on the valley floor Saturday night into Sunday morning. The initial amount of precip is iffy but I'm pulling the trigger on a Level 2 - meaning I think that most areas will at least see a coating by sunday with a snow advisory. I know, I know gutsy call - haha.

If the pattern lines up just right, I might even kick things up another notch! Stay tuned. Beyond the weekend lots and lots of mild rain on tap for next week.
