I'm done

OK, so I know I haven't been back very long, but I'm so ready for the weekend! Those of you that have had any exposure to me and my personality whatsoever, know that it doesn't take much to tick me off. Today was no exception.

This afternoon I had the pleasure of showing someone how to do the payroll process for the 2nd time and having her tell me how she doesn't agree with it. As sympathetic as I was (not at all), I let her know that I was given the procedures/parameters from the head of Payroll in the Corporate Office himself and she continued to try and explain to me why her way was better (as if I cared). I told her multiple times that it isn't my place to just change the way people get paid and in a few weeks she can do it however she wants, but she continued to try and convince me to change the corporate policy anyway. As she got up to send an email to the Payroll dept., I used the opportunity to sail her chair out of my office and into the hallway. That was a sign that I was done with this subject for the day. For her sake, I hope she recognizes that sign as well.

OMG!! That is soooo funny! I am so sorry! You know I mentioned to Joyce yesterday the way it is around here. Joyce told me she had been raised by wolves...that is why she is like that. I will explain this one in person to you! I love the chair sailing out of your office...your killin me!

I'm hoping it made a very loud noise as it dented the wall. Please tell me you also slammed the door shut as well!

These are the kind of blogs I LOVE!!!

Ouch. Sometimes I wonder if you sailed any chairs across the room with me as your subordinate. Then again, I didn't really try to deconstruct HEC's policies...
