Ummmm thanks......

So last night I'm watching TV & waiting for Maddox to fall asleep. I leave his door open so he can see me in my room from his bed. I hear him calling either "Teacher" (which he does sometimes I'm assuming out of habit from school) or "Covers" which means I need to come in and tuck him in again. His speech is getting a lot better, but I'm still unsure which of those words I'm hearing. If I don't go in to tuck him in, he'll come out and get me thinking I just didn't hear him.....it's just quicker if I go in and tuck him in again. Anyway, as I headed in to his room he was sitting on his bed holding his arm out to me, like trying to hand me something. I held out my hand to take whatever out of his hand, but didn't really see anything. Was it a piece of lint or hair from his blanket? Whatever. I tuck him in and notice his finger go up his nose. All of the sudden I realize what he just handed over to me. It wasn't the word "Teacher" or "Covers" that he was calling over and over, but the word "booger". I asked him, "Maddox, did you just hand me a booger?" He smiled satisfactorily and said "yes" to confirm. Then he settled in and fell asleep. What else can I possibly say about this? Just the fact that I scrubbed my hands like a surgeon as soon as I walked out of the room. I love boys.
