Last Sunday I was lucky enough to honor my mother's fight against Breast Cancer by running the 5K Race for the Cure in Portland. I was joined by 2 fabulous friends who unselfishly got up unnecessarily early on a Sunday morning to run with me. Thank you, Amber & Angie, for letting me know how much my mom touched your lives as well.
My sis & her family were also showing their unwavering support by walking the 5K. Thank you to anyone who participated & donated money on behalf of Nancy that day. Let's hope this year they'll find that darned cure already!
ps Amber is not included in the pic as the madhouse of the crowd enabled us to hook up, but we all ran anyway (together in spirit).
