TGIF - kind of

No need to go back over the weather, I'm sure everyone has had their fill of news stories and predictions of the impending doom. The one thing worth mentioning is that models don't show a big warm up next week and the snow levels will stay quite low.

So on to scenario #2 of 2,000 at work...............

Caller: This is Joe Bob with such and such company in Arkansas and I buy from dat der udder division y'all got in Muzereeee and heard you were da man to talk to.
Me thinking to self: Ding, ding, ding - crappy call alert.
Caller: So I have this tire size 265/75R16, what chains you got for dem?
Me: I'd recommend product XYZ
Caller: Well, what else you got?
Me thinking to self: Ugh, we have 14 different models for this application, I'm screwed, maybe I should just hang up, you know, bad connection
Me: Well there's such and such chain
Here goes 15 minutes going over everything for a whopping one pair of chains
Caller: Alrighty den, I need me some UPS freight quotes
Me thinking to self: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Then I look up the weight for each one and start quoting away
Caller: When could I git dem? What if I need em by next tuesday?
Things move on to another round of quoting freight charges for all different models on second day air
Caller: You been very helpful son, I'll let you know if I git the order
Me thinking to myself: Goodie, goodie....I hope you don't!

What a week, we sold more chains this week than in any ONE month period ever - well over 100,000 pair. Hope it doesn't snow in January..............
