A British President?

For those with children, you understand the monotony of reading the same books to the kids every single night. Some days, when I think I just can't read "Clifford's Christmas Presents" (in April, mind you) one more time, I spice up storytime by reading the book in a different accent. Maddox doesn't seem to notice the alteration & it gives me something else to concentrate on other than the same boring story.

One of his fave books is a Sesame Street/Muppet book called "I Want To Be President." We've had this for awhile and read it a ton when the election was near; I believe it really added to the spirit of getting a new President. My conscience, however, was having a hard time describing in the first person what I was going to do when I was President and speaking it in a british accent. Is this considered blasphemy? We all know that you must be American born to be President so I wondered how possible it would be for an American-born citizen to have an accent (insert Madonna & Gwenyth jokes here). Thoughts?
