Mixed feelings

I'm watching the breaking news of Brooke Wilberger's mother giving a press conference about Brooke's remains FINALLY being located/recovered. Part of me is very happy that this mother finally has closure on this 5+ year battle, yet I am saddened that any glimmer of hope her mother may have had is gone. I can't imagine the grief this woman has gone through. How do you transfer the desperation of urgency you feel for answers to everyone around you so they will continue to work on this case until it's solved? Well, the diligence paid off and I'm very proud that the system does work and that this rapist & murderer will never see freedom ever again.
