Update & summer project

Update:

I know, I know, it's been a long time since anything new has appeared on this blog. My apologies. I think of things throughout the day that I could be posting, but when I actually get on my computer I get too rushed to put something up. Maybe I should just keep reminding myself that the posts don't need to be lengthy or elaborate (that's what she said), but just quick tidbits here & there. I hope this reminder will increase my frequency of blogging. Time will tell.

One thing I know I need to be better about is taking photos. I'm terrible at it and rely on Teague way too much to make it a priority. Sadly, I have more time on my hands than he does (seriously?) and should be snapping the boys left & right. What better way to take advantage of my time with them? Maybe if I carried my camera around once in awhile.....

Maddox is done with the school year, but will continue to attend preschool 3 mornings a week through the summer. I'd hate to lose all the progress he's been making & I can use the help burning off his energy & keeping his mind busy!

We're gearing up for our annual family party this Sunday. I'm hoping the weather stays sunny & warm while we celebrate this fabulous country. I'm hoping further that Grandpa Bruce will make an appearance.

Summer Project:
You may be thinking that Teague's got some big, landscaping idea going on, but I'm here to tell you that my project is harder & will take a lot longer to complete......potty training. But didn't you just potty train Maddox last year? Yes, but my goal is to get Dylan on track this summer before Labor Day. Is he ready? Kind of. I waited so long w/ Maddox that it was pretty quick once I got a system going, but Dylan may take a lot longer being a full year younger. I'm hoping to be more successful than getting Dylan off the pacifier (um, yeah, he still needs it to fall asleep), and oddly enough this task seems easier.

Wish me luck!
