WARNING.....BRAG REPORT AHEAD

Just in case you didn't want to hear about how fantastic my children are, here is your chance to bypass this post.

Anyway, as I was picking up Maddox from school, Ms. Kristi tells me she can't believe how good Maddox is at reading. Internally beaming with pride, she continues on with telling me that he read his current book really well today (kids take home 1 book and bring it back to read to the teacher as a test and then receive a more advanced book) and has a new book to practice on. She further explains that Maddox only has 4 more books after this one (keep in mind he has a full year of preschool ahead of him). Once he's done with those books the school will test him for his accurate reading level and then obtain books accordingly. She surmised he is currently at a 2nd grade reading level. 2nd grade!!!

Now if we could just work on his ability to color within the lines!
