2/3'rds done

Chemo last Thursday went fine, same ol' same ol'. I had my handsome hubby with me and we passed the time looking at houses in the hopes of moving someday. The good & bad thing is based on what we'd be looking for, there weren't any options so the temptations were low.

This Monday has me coming off of spacey-ness and general tummy discomfort as the poison flushes itself out. I'm usually feeling pretty good by about Tuesdays after treatment so I'm hopeful I can rally and be a suitable Valentine for my man who is taking such good care of me. Can I just say he even offered to clean the bathrooms for me yesterday? I must have been looking pretty worn! Teague has been such a trooper throughout this entire thing. If I had to guess, I'd think a tough part for him is seeing me in sweats and hats/head covers all the time. I'm the first to admit that I've really let myself go....at least at the house. Someday I'll get back to normal, but for now I'm taking advantage of the fact that I have an infant at home and am completely looking the part of the harried mom.

Ha! what's my excuse for wearing sweats and not keeping myself manicured??? Bless you Teague for being a wonderful husband and father. May you be a good example to many men out there.

You do have a keeper for a husband - what a blessing!
