It was bound to happen

So I had another treatment a week+ ago which means I had another Quarantine Period starting last Thursday - yesterday. Unfortunately, I got sick :( No need to panic, it's just an average cold that started last Friday and is getting better everyday, but I was hoping to get through these low-immunity periods unscathed. The real worry would be if I had a fever over 100.4 degrees. In that case I'd have to call my Oncologist, probably have a blood draw and worst-case scenario....a stay in the hospital with a side of delay on my very last treatment. Fortunately, none of these things happened. Just some green yuck coughed up in the morning and a stuffy nose, which I get once each winter. It was bound to happen I guess.

Well, I'd better sign off......the boys are showing me the red smiley faces drawn all over their legs from red marker. Sigh....

Specific prayer request: that this cold leaves ASAP and that I won't have to have radiation therapy after my surgery

Next steps: last treatment scheduled for March 22nd & last booster shot the following day (holla!); MRI scheduled for March 28th to identify all remaining aspects of the tumor; consult with my breast surgeon on April 4th to schedule my surgery. Yikes!
