What's that? Did I forget to mention I don't need radiation???

That's right, faithful followers!  Although it has been a week since my Oncologist confirmed that I will not require radiation, I'm just now getting around to posting the fantastic news #sosorryforbeingaslacker.  You did it!  You prayed for me and all those prayers were answered!!!!  No amount of thanks would ever be enough to let you know what those prayers meant to me.  I have been wanting this very news for over 6 months and after having so many of you pray that same wish for me just shows how powerful prayer works.  I didn't even have to fight for this news (see earlier post), it was just handed to me with a smile.  Thank You Lord!

Recovery is going well.  Although my body is anxious to get back to normal activities, I still have that pesky 5lb weight restriction.  I also have a bunch of tests/scans coming up, but nothing to worry about.  My reconstruction will hopefully be complete by fall and I can put this whole "I used to have cancer" thing behind me once and for all!

Now let's bring on some more summer weather :)
