Spring Break!

With this title you may expect to see beautiful pics of adorable and perfectly behaved children on some vacation adventure, right?!  Ha!  When have you ever known us to take any sort of trip on Spring Break?  Not since college for me.  When have you ever known my kids to be perfectly behaved?  Sadly, we have done nothing this week.  Although the weekend was BEYOND GORGEOUS and we spent most of it out in the backyard (boys: playing sports, me: laying out in the sun, Teague: putting a floor in the shed) enjoying the sunshine, other than our first trip to Farmer's Market of the season we didn't make any elaborate plans.

Tomorrow we are looking forward to checking out the Portland Aquarium that opened last December with Auntie Michele.  She was so generous to add the children to her family pass so they will get in free and I only have to pay for myself.  This is a great deal considering the children will most likely fly through the exhibit making it a very quick trip.

Other than that, I'm just gearing up for the last home stretch....the final weeks prior to school being let out for the summer.  There is a ton of PTA things coming up (new elections for next year, budget preparation, Teacher Appreciation Week festivites) along with Dylan's preview and sign up for Kindergarten (what!?), school field trips, swimming lessons, and Maddox's baseball games which start Tuesday....after only 2 practices.  It's going to be crazy!  And I wouldn't have it any other way  :)
