Another first

Presley and I had a much-needed day of rest at home with zero appointments or errands.  She celebrated by "Frozen" as many times as she could.  Unfortunately, I caught her getting into something AGAIN (she's going through a ridiculous exploratory-curious phase as of late) during the 5 minutes I was getting dressed.  5 minutes!  Apparently she felt the need to put lotion on her face.  Sadly, she cannot distinguish the difference between lotion & diaper rash cream.  Can you bring to memory the consistency of diaper rash cream?  It's super greasy and super sticky.  If there is an upside, it's that she mainly just got it on her face and her hands, but also in her hair.  This was the big problem.  Soap is immune and so is water apparently.  I wiped her face and hands with a towel which worked great, but her hair was a more difficult problem.  After brushing, watering down, and wiping I finally pulled out the hydrogen peroxide and sprayed her down.  That stuff cuts through anything.  I think it was the best it was going to be.  I regret putting her in the bath this morning.....the fact that her hair looked really cute today made this scenario that much more depressing.  I really hope this phase goes away soon!
