December 2016 Recap

December found the Rakoz Family packed with end of season celebrations and under many days of snow......just how we like it!  Here are a few photos that we captured:

Big bro reading a Christmas story to Presley

I am trying out a new hobby: cookie decorating!  Here is my 2nd attempt.  Although invisible to the eye, I am getting better at it.

  Here are Presley's decorating skills

Our little ballerina had a holiday showcase

the class did a snippet from "The Nutcracker"

Here is Presley in her class as they celebrate National Hot Cocoa Day

Here is Dylan with some of his pals at the school holiday concert

Here is Mr. Cheezy waiting for his songs to start.  Is he extra excited this is his last Marrion Concert?  Probably.

We had lots of opportunities to sled which I got on video, but I still haven't figured out how to upload videos on this blog so you'll have to take my word that the clips of the kids sledding are fantastic.

We went to the Beardmore's for the annual Christmas Craft Day where the kids got to decorate Christmas Tree Brownies.  They were so cute!

So although we all had a fabulous Christmas, I neglected to take ANY pics of it.  Let's hope Teague did.

A few days later the family came over to celebrate Maddox turning 11.  We had brownies and a sundae bar.  The next day the kids, along with 2 of Maddox's friends, went to G6 Airpark for a few hours to celebrate Maddox's birthday.

This was Presley's first time jumping here and she spent most of the time running up the ramp in an effort to touch the blue line at the top.  She spent the rest of the time jumping in the foamy pit.

The boys spent most of their time playing dodgeball and shooting baskets.

2016 was a busy year and I am excited to see where 2017 finds us.  God bless!
