Welcome February 2024!
One awesome piece of news (that I do not have a photo of) is that Maddox got a new job at Chipotle. He is a dishwasher/online prep employee. He doesn't love it and his hands are taking a beating, but that's why they call it work, right?
Once a year I take the Twins to a vet appointment for an annual checkup. They absolutely HATE the cat carrier (especially since I force them both into the same one), but it's the only time they will willingly snuggle together. Of course it's only in mutual fear, but I love the sibling bond.

One rare sunny weekend day Dylan wanted to meet up at the high school with one of his football teammates and Presley wanted to practice pitching so they each got some outside work in while I caught up on a good book.
Our school puts on a Unified Basketball game each year. The quarters are short and all the players have helpers. Everyone has a blast.
Guess who not only got called to report, but landed on a Jury? I missed 4 days of work and we couldn't come to an agreement which resulted in a mistrial. The case was awful and I did not have the enjoyable experience I thought I would have.
Remember the 3,000 piece "The Office" puzzle I started a year and a half ago? This is where I'm at. I don't even work at it anymore since all the pieces left to place are the exact same color.
Sometimes when the students at my/our school have early release and a game on the same day, they will head across the street for some snacks to pass the time. Here are some of the girls from Cheer Squad at Menchi's.
Our boys 8th grade basketball team made it to the District Championship, but lost in overtime. It was a fun game and experience to cheer at.
During a small class trip, Presley and I visited her elementary school where she got to visit her favorite teacher and recess monitor.
This is Presley's friend, Malik, who she plays Fortnite with online. They showed up twinning one day without planning it. Who wore it best?
The end of the month brought us to Spring Tryouts.

Dylan made the baseball team (unable to show complete roster). I'm so happy for both of them and look forward to cheering them on soon!
