White X-Mas? update

Edit: It would sure be helpful if I could keep my days and calendar straight. The chance for snow I've been talking about is on Christmas Day, not Christmas Eve.

Looks like our best chances of seeing some white stuff around X-mas will be with a system coming through on Christmas Eve. Rain at first but if everyone has been good little boys and girls maybe some snow showers later in the day as cooler air moves in quickly. Maybe.

A few other chances for lower elevation snow coming up later next week, but no big freeze at this time. HOWEVER, with much, much colder air than normal building into AK and Siberia I think there will be plenty to watch out for in January. Arctic Express?

I did ask Santa for one big snow storm so we'll see......in the meantime I'm going back to eating the Sees candy a vendor brought in for me just as soon as I hunt down the person that stole the little chart thingy - I don't like little fruit filled surprises when I'm expecting some chocolate or caramel goodness.
