Two Posts in One Day!

I just got a friendly email reminder from CBS Sportsline to be sure and fill out my bracket, thanks for thinking of me CBS, but I've already somehow found the time to do three brackets in hopes of winning Ryan's tournament pool this year. I do appreciate the technology though, as the website tracks everyones' brackets eliminating the need to carry my brackets around in my pocket for three weeks with highlighter pens (the person that does my laundry probably appreciates this too). One of the other positives to the online tournament tracking is that it eliminates the monkey business - say like during Nicole's time at Hollywood Video when certain office tournament organizers magically won every single year.

My only NCAA tourney success over the years has been in winning a few dollars off of my co-workers. But these fine folks I work with have a strange way of doing things, like not consistently paying off their gambling debts. The Laclede Chain tourney no longer exists, but it's not like I shouldn't be using work time for it. Besides, my boss is in China and he still owes me from 2001.

Anyways, I don't watch a lot of college hoops, Maddox and I prefer the NBA. Nothing against college ball, but fitting in 81 Blazer games this year has been challening. The seemingly endless commercials during the NCAA tourney are a big pet peeve of mine, but as usual, I think I will muster the inner strength to fight through. One last thought is that I pray Dick Vitale loses his voice early on in the tournament.

While I welcome any additonal payments to the pool... I plan on taking the cake- but thanks for the financial contribution Teague, always appreciated! GAME ON!
