Drive Thru

Since I've already been fairly productive at work today in getting my third NCAA bracket filled out, I figured I'd do some random blogging.

I was running a little late this morning but quite hungry and some mysterious force managed to pull my car towards Jack in the Box and right on through the drive-thru. Weird. Since I was already there I figured I should buy something - "The Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich." Normally I try not to eat in the car (at least while driving) but I couldn't wait and dug in. Big mistake, those little hashbrown strips are basically sticks of molten lava! So one tip would be to head on down the road a few miles before digging in.

I finished my food before arriving at work and out of morbid curiosity decided to visit Jack online to see just how "nutritious" my breakfast really was. I was kind of disappointed to discover that The Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich doesn't hold a candle to Jack's Ultimate Cheeseburger, only about half the calories (570) and about one-third the fat. Come on Jack, throw a sausage patty on there if you really want to call it the Ultimate! Within the "nutritional" portion of the website it says "We hope this nutritional information will help you satisfy your dietary needs at Jack in the Box." Well, I really didn't need 75% of my daily sodium to kick the day off, but thanks.

Back to oatmeal tomorrow.........maybe.

The only thing missing here is..."it was excellent, but of course I couldn't finish it."

That UlTIMATE CHEESEBURGER is tasty.
