Welcome Fall!

Although I protested the end of the hot and sunny weather, I do have a lot of fun events coming up to welcome the autumnal season:

-Sausage Fest is this weekend. One of Teague's favorite events of the year boasts a community carnival, lively and 'colorful' beer garden, and gluttonous feast (think irish sundaes, elephant ears, and suspicious-ingredient sausage). Something for all ages to enjoy.

-Maddox has his very first soccer game on Saturday. The other children on his team have all played previous seasons so there's one disadvantage. A second disadvantage is that Maddox is the youngest on the team....some are close to 6 years old. To say this game will be interesting would be putting it mildly.

-Teague is on vacation next week. Although we don't have anything planned, I'm looking forward to spending some quality time with my best friend :)

-a trip to the pumpkin patch

-I'm attending a Women's Retreat next month that I'm very excited about. Is it because of the fellowship or the lack of maternal responsibility? Doesn't really matter. I'm sure there'll be a healthy pile of dishes & laundry upon my return, though.

-the weather is reportedly heating up next week; possibly 80 degrees!

-Hug a Vegetarian Day (Sept 24).....that'd be me!
-Uncle Jeff's birthday (Sept 27)
-our 6th wedding anniversary (Oct 2)
-Dylan's 3rd birthday (Oct 31)

Then the holidays.....agh! Enjoy this beautifully changing season everyone :)
