2011 Resolution Update

So far, so good! I've been faithfully (cheese intended) reading my Bible and writing down a praise & prayer in my journal each day. It's actually not so bad and only takes about 15 minutes. The praises & prayers aren't terribly profound, but have become more specific as time goes by.

Example: my children are both crazy healthy. Don't get me wrong, I know we're incredibly blessed by this, but the extent of their ailments might be the sniffles for a few days. So yesterday Maddox woke up with a really warm forehead and said he was sick & needed medicine. Now I know he just loves to take children's Tylenol ('cause it's so tasty????), but this time the claim seemed valid. He hardly ate anything all day and his warm forehead returned just before bed. After a quick, specific prayer of healing and for him to resume his appetite, he woke up perfectly fine and eating once again. How easy was that???

In today's reading, the book of Matthew had a passage that (& I'm paraphrasing here....just because I read it, doesn't mean it's been committed to memory) Jesus spoke stating that if someone TRULY had faith, their prayers would be answered. Does that inspire anyone else to throw a shout out to the Big Guy?

Parting question for you: What do you have to lose????
