So Thursday was the first soccer game of the season for both boys (will try to get more pics up soon). Unfortunately, 5 out of the 7 games this season are at the exact same time and the fields were not closeby, so Mommy & Daddy had to split half the game between each boys. A nice family support system was in place: girls (Mommy, Grandma, Auntie Rhacelle, & Briar) watched Dylan the first half while boys (Daddy, Grandpa Ed, & Adden) watched Maddox before switching for the 2nd half of the games.
The boys were pretty enthusiastic and made us pretty proud. Dylan had a breakaway during one point, but dribbled just shy of the goal & Maddox scored twice in the 4th quarter. Twice more than the entire last season! Bottom line: the boys had a good time and kept good attitudes. I'm very hopeful for a great season.
