Some randoms

Boys are doing well with soccer. To say that Dylan gets distracted by the vicinity of his familial supports would be an understatement. He enjoys stopping in the middle of the game to glance over, shout "hi!" and wave until he is reminded that he is in the middle of a play. He's having a blast. At the game the other day, he dribbled in and scored twice! In our defending goal.... for the other team. Luckily, Coach Bob (who Dylan talks about all the time & constantly illiciting high-fives from) has the outlook of "Oh, well, a goal is a goal!"

Maddox has continued to surprise us with his confidence level this season and really hustles. He scored twice in Games 1 & 3 and once in Game 2. There are only 3 more games left and I'll miss one of them. Getting sad already :(

In other news, 3rd Rak will be here in 18 more days! I need to pack my suitcase & put some things together (ie, baby swing, pack-n-play, etc), not to mention enjoying the sun, should it make an appearance anytime this summer and finish up school supplies/clothes shopping. It should be a busy couple of weeks.

The boys & I just finished up a week of Vacation Bible School at church. They seemed to be excited, but were pretty tired each day---I suspect because they actually had to get up early for something. Unfortunately Maddox didn't have any of his friends in his specific group and was pretty sad the first day, but seemed to find a friend to pal around with the rest of the week. Dylan, predictably, kept the middle school helpers VERY busy in his class and made a few fans with his ever present smile and boundless energy. I helped out with registration and checkout which gave me kid-free mornings and a lot of bonding time with friends I don't get to see too often. Dylan is already asking when we get to go again.

That's about it for now. I'll try & get some pics up, but may have to take some first!
