Another Quarantine
So Thursday, Jan 26th, marks the beginning of another Quarantine Period for me. In short, my immune system will be incredibly low until Monday so I should refrain from touching (ie, hugging, receiving sneezes from, etc.) anyone. If I were to get an infection, it could mean a hospital stay for me and delay from treatment....not an option!!!! My last treatment is scheduled for March 22nd and I am not OK with any delays!!! Please help to keep me healthy by waving hello and smiles only. This is especially for those family members I will be seeing at my niece's birthday party on Saturday. Although I may not have seen you for awhile, I can't take the chance. For those that will be tempted to hold Presley during this time, if there is ANY chance you or a family member is a little under the weather, please refrain from taking her. That's who I caught my last cold from and it's not worth the chance. I assure you she will not be offended by you keeping your distance. Thanks everyone :)

I love your sense of humor. And...stay away from me if you see me. I've had my cold for at least a month if not 6 weeks. I thought I almost kicked it, but felt it coming back on Friday and am resting today. Thus...I didn't give you or Presley a hug on Sunday or get any closer than I was. I still think it is funny how admiring how stylish you looked and didn't even know it was you until I got a glimpse of your profile! Love you!
I'm with you sister. I just got my labs back today and my white cells are even lower than last time. They had to ask my doc if she wanted me to get chemo today. Needless to say, I will be making some quarantine periods of my own!
