Just Plugging Along

I'm very excited for January to be over! It just seems that January feels like nothing ever goes on and there's a letdown of activity and get-togethers from the holidays....and not just this January but every single year! I don't know if I've ever looked forward to anything in the month of January and 2012 is no exception. Oh well, it's over.

I will say that this sunshine has been so wonderful. The boys are giddy with excitement over getting outdoors, even if it's just our tiny backyard. Yesterday Dylan even asked if we could get out the slip n' slide. Obviously it wasn't THAT hot!

Later this week I'm scheduled for Chemo #4 and it's the only treatment I have in February (yay!). It sure seems like the weeks are dragging along. I realize that having treatments 3 weeks apart allows my body time to recouperate and ensure I'm healthy enough for another round, but sometimes I wish I could just get them over with sooner. I'll have 2 more treatments after this week (March 1 & March 22). Man I can't wait!

Funny: someone said my hair looked really cute today.

Prayer needed: that my iron level is up and I won't need a transfusion.
