Home and doing well

Thank you to all my prayer warriors and well wishers :)  Luckily, despite my head cold, I was able to go ahead w/ the procedure.  I was an hour later getting into the OR, but the surgery went quickly and was done very well (so I'm told).  As I recover, I have not felt any nausea or pain, just soreness as tho I had done a crazy chest press workout the day before.  Overall, I am happy with the results as were both of my surgeons.

We checked out of the hospital a mere 26 hours after checking in.  Seem fast?  I agree.  At least being at home I've been walking around a lot more than if I had stayed in the hospital.

At this point I just walk around forbidden to do anything to help the family.  It's very humbling for sure to watch your mother-in-law change Presley's diapers and feed her food.  Isn't that my job?  Apparently not for the next month or so  :(

Teague has been fantastic through all of this: he definitely puts the "rock" in Rakoz.

Next step: I have about 10 doctor appointments this month to check my progress and ensure everything was removed.

Specific prayer: that the pathology report coming out in a few days shows clear margins so I won't need radiation going forward.

Thank you everyone for all your positive comments and encouragement :)  Enjoy the gorgeous weather that is on its way (supposedly).  I know it will keep my spirits up for sure!
