Excuses and other additions

Yes I vowed to blog every week (and I selected Thursdays to do so) yet I didn't/haven't blogged for last week.  Excuse: hello!  It was gorgeous outside!!  Those of you that know even the tiniest thing about me know I'm a sun enthusiast to say the absolute least.  Last week's blog entry fell victim to the enticing warmth beckoning me from my backyard.  I was utterly helpless and spent a little time each day lying on the grass while the children played around me.  It was one of my visions of what heaven is like.

The addition news is the fact that our deck is being replaced starting tomorrow.  During the inspection, our attention was directed to many of the boards that were damaged.  Once a GC was out for a quote, Teague also asked for a quote for composite instead of board replacement (which wouldn't match due to sun fading).  The price was something Teague was OK with so we will be the happy owners of a new deck by week's end!  We're very excited and look forward to BBQ'ing and having guests over to enjoy the warm weather.  At least once we get more seating!

Enjoy this week, it's slated to be nice and warm.  I won't have the luxury of laying out in the sun (wah!) as there will be workers here all week so I may be updating the blog on time after all.  A small sacrifice I guess.
