The Ultimate Act of Parental Laziness

So Dylan's birthday is next weekend.  I should be planning a party, right?  Yeah, I'm using the excuse this year that there isn't any time for even a family party for Dylan due to Maddox's Saturday basketball games and Presley's naptime.  Lame, right?  Well Dylan's actual birthday is out to celebrate with those other than his immediate family since most people have plans on Halloween night.  I also have been a big fan of putting off "parties for friends" because those kinds of parties are either a) too expensive if they are held at an off-site kid location, or b) too messy/too much cleaning at my own house.  Plus, I have enough children, why would I want extras here??

So what to do?  I mean his actual birthday is always fun, due to the whole "trick-or-treating" thing so it's not like he would be moping around.  I have decided to horn in on other events :)  I have actively adopted these as birthday celebrations for Dylan:

1) their school is having a fundraiser at JJ Jump (bounce house place) and Dylan is taking a dear preschool friend with him to jump and go crazy for 2 hours

2) I've planned a "Harvest Party" to 'celebrate Fall' in Dylan's classroom conveniently on his birthday

3) I'm adding his birthday to the Rakoz Birthday celebration for Grandma (November 11) and Adden & Briar (November 10) at Rhacelle's house next month.

Now that I list it out, wouldn't it have been easier to plan just 1 celebration than help out/organize 3?  Um, yeah.....
