So tasty, yet so bad for me

I'm talking about movie theatre popcorn.  Man, I love that stuff.  I've been tempted many times to go to the movies just to hit the concession stand, overpay for that buttery goodness, and take it home to enjoy.  It's half the fun of going to the movies, at least for me.  It's greasy, it's horrible for you, and I can't say no to the stuff.

Today Teague treated us all to the movies to see "Frozen."  He hasn't been to the movies with the kids before, but I think they did just fine.  Oh, Dylan was fidgety at times and Presley had to dance during the songs, but they were pretty well behaved.  The boys had each picked out their choice of candy and I, of course, had to indulge in a giant sized popcorn.....I was sharing with 4 others you know.  Not surprising was the face that the tub was gone even before the main show started.  Luckily for me that a giant tub is entitled to 1 refill so I ran to replenish before settling in.  Maddox only refilled his plastic dish once, but the youngers took after Mommy refilling their dishes more times than I could count and barely keep up with.  What horrible habit of overeating this gluttonous treat was I teaching my children??

Predictably my stomach felt all greasy and hollow for hours to come.  Food sounded pretty gross and I opted for a vegetable salad for dinner.  Totally worth it.
