Interruptions used for good

Oh I'm in such a good mood!!!  This weather is perfect and regardless of all the other drama in my life (PTA), I can't help but smile.  I'm even enjoying baseball!  I was having a great time at Dylan's t-ball game yesterday and wasn't bored at all.  In fact, the time seemed to fly by!  Imagine!

This week my Women's Bible Study started a new series entitled "Life Interrupted" and is based on the story of Jonah.  I've only done a couple of daily assignments and watched 1 video, but it's giving me new perspectives on things.  It talks about how we can map out our life (even in the big-picture/general sense of a life plan, not the ridiculous schedule-y plan like I do), but we will come across big obstacles that will completely derail what we thought our life would be.  Most of us will naturally stress over these challenges which may result in other problems, but there is a glorious opportunity for triumph and change in these obstacles.  One glaring epiphany I read is sticking with me: "God doesn't need us to complete His purposes, yet He still chooses to ask us to partner with Him."  How true!

As I continue to work on listening for opportunities from Him on what His plan for my life is, I hope to see the wrench in my plans as divine intervention rather than interruption.  We'll see how this actually plays out......
