April 2017 in Review

Yes, it is a week past the end of April.  That's how ridiculously behind I am in most of my tasks.

The first full week of April is Spring Break for us and we headed to Lincoln City for 4 days.  The weather was pretty decent and we all had a great time relaxing and spending time together.

When I'm shopping at the Outlets and spot something I think the kids might like I facetime them.  Here is Maddox barely looking like he can't be bothered with my questions while he spends his time playing video games.

Daddy and I snuck away for a tasty lunch with an amazing view.

Presley and I had a girl's day by going to see the motion picture "Beauty and the Beast."  The movie had a pretty sad part at the end, which Presley knew about, but it didn't stop her emotions.  As she sobbed she said, "I never want to see this movie ever again!"  Something tells me she may change her mind.

The boys supported a fundraiser for their Little League by joining some teammates (current and former) at Burgerville for dinner.  The easiest fundraiser they can participate in.

Dylan participated in his school's dress up day themed "Sports Day."  Maddox participated by wearing sweats and going as a Blazer bench player.  Lame!

Presley's class participated in a production of "Stone Soup" that I was able to sneak over to see.

One of my friends opened a new resale boutique in Hazel Dell called "Haute Madre."  I joined her at the Grand Opening and celebrated this new venture by supporting a new local business and buying some cute stuff.

Here's Dylan at Opening Ceremonies

Presley and I spent some time coloring Easter eggs.  We love this tradition together.

This is often how we find her sleeping....I wouldn't think it's very comfortable, but she manages just fine.

On Administrative Assistant's Day our school didn't have any students on campus.  Our incredibly generous teachers and principals gathered a collection and sent us out to lunch.  We went to Warehouse 23 and spent 2 hours not working---the perfect gift!

One Sunday Dylan opted to join me in the big people's service instead of going to Kid's Ministry.

As I prepared our monthly calendar for May, I see there is hardly ANY free time in the evenings.  I'm exhausted already just looking at it!

Now that it's been a week late, you can see where I'm spending my time.  Until next time......
