Welcome to another month y'all!
This month was filled with sports and practices and games and driving all over town. The photos are super random, but a good symbol of how the month of May went down.

Here's Maddox up at the plate

Presley's teacher continues to spoil the class with extra treats and activities. She has been a fantastic teacher!

At work we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week with root beer floats.

Here's my office mate, Michelle, who I absolutely adore.

Me and Maddox took a road trip for a double header out at the Bridge of the Gods which was close to an hour away.

Later that evening I got dressed up and headed to Prom. Here I am with my 2 bosses ready to enjoy the party.

Here's a pic of my and my boss and another super fun friend, our guidance counselor. Between these peeps, I pretty much laugh all day long.

Here's a selfie I took on Mother's Day after church with the absolute best kids in the whole wide world. I sure love them ridiculously.

Here are my sports stars dressed and ready for the elementary track meet that afternoon. As luck would have it, it was the absolute rainiest day in the history of the world (since the flood). These boys were so cold, but ran their tails off. I was incredibly proud of the both of them.

They both got blue ribbons for multiple events: both were on 1st place teams for the Tug of War. Maddox beat everyone by getting 1st place in the shot put and Dylan got 1st place in the 100 meter dash.

Presley reached a milestone of her own by learning how to tie her shoes all by herself. She decided she wanted to learn, practiced incessantly, and nailed the task in 2 days. The boys hadn't learned this skill until the summer before 2nd grade. She's such an overachiever!

Maddox and Daddy stole my phone to capture a few pics.

I received this pic via text from Dylan's baseball coach while Dylan was hanging out playing a board game. Even with his mouth compromised, I'm sure he was still able to chatter nonstop.

Daddy and his little helper got the garden started during a warm stretch of weather.

Mr. President was the emcee for the schools' annual Memorial Day Assembly. He looked so handsome and poised as he addressed the student body and honored veterans.

We went to the Beardmore's to visit with them and the Christie's who were visiting from Florida. It was a really fun night.

These guys have been friends since their middle school days.

Both boys elected to play in the annual Memorial Day Tournament. Although the odds were not in their favor, they enjoyed the playing time.

Here's a pic of the kids showing their school spirit with "Opposite Day." Each child had their own interpretation of what opposite day would look like, but they enjoyed creating their outfits for the day.
That's it for May! Stay tuned for June where Presley will show off her ballet skills in her recital. Although I'm not allowed to take pictures during the performance, I will be taking lots of pics of her in her gorgeous dress. Until next time.....
