June 2017

June 2017 found us very busy as we wrapped up school for the year, a regular season of baseball and ballet.  It also began a just-as-grueling schedule of All Star Tournament practices and games and summer camps.  Here are the highlights

Here's Dylan with one of his friends at the school carnival

Here's my goofballs at the Carnival....Maddox's last one as a student (sniff, sniff)

After 6 years at Marrion, Maddox was able to participate in the annual 5th Grade v Teacher Kickball game.  Maddox was the pitcher and the weather was over 90 degrees that day.

I hung with this cutie during the game

Presley had her very first ballet recital.  After taking lessons for 9 months, she and her class played the role of "Bridesmaids" in the studio's production of "Beauty and the Beast."

Maddox and longtime bud, Cooper, took advantage of
their new school's summer sports camp for a couple of days.  As it turns out, the adult running the camp is the 7A boys basketball coach....someone these boys definitely want a lot of face time with

Once school was out, I needed to find some way to care for the kids until I was out of school for the year.....they came to work with me!

Here's Dylan bonding with our Security Guard and her sugar glider, Kayak

Maddox earned a Spotlight Award at his basketball camp for "encouragement"

Mid- month, the Little League announced its All Star Lineup

I was beyond thrilled to learn that Maddox made the 11-12 All Star Team.  This is voted on by the players and we are so excited to see what this ultra-talented group of kids will do

Here are some pics from Dylan's All Star experience.  Their team lost 2 games and won 1 game which was against all odds.

Here are the player pennants made by the Team Moms

My favorite player on the team

Announcing by name....and by "announcing" I mean hearing 'Dylan Rockuz"

Next up is Maddox's tournament beginning next month.

It was a crazy whirlwind month for sure, but I wouldn't change any of the memories for anything.  Until next time!
