March 2018 in Review

As I import March photos from my iPad and phone (the only pics I take), I realize that March was a pretty boring month.  It's a month I dread to a certain extent for a couple of reasons: 1) the weather is still cold and rainy, and 2) there aren't any scheduled school days off.  Due to having 31 days in the month, it always seems really long.

Here are a few highlights.  I'm sure they aren't in perfect order, but it gives a description of what happened during the month.

There was another school dance called March Madness at Wy'east and I was thrilled to chaperone.  It was the day prior to St. Patrick's Day and the 4 different themes were
*sports
*floral
*green
*St Patrick's Day

I love that Maddox enjoys going to these dances with his buds.

Here he is with one of his fave buds, Ayden

and here I am with his mom, my fave chaperone bud Anna.  I swear we may have more fun than the boys!

This year we got to attend "Hats Off to Reading" again which we have missed the last few years due to sports conflicts.  Only Presley went with me this year, but we had a good time.  In this session, she is listening to "The Hungry Caterpillar" by her principal.

Here she is with her BFF and (hopefully) 2nd grade teacher

Dylan went on his 1st 'date' with his girlfriend for her birthday.  They went to Cinetopia for dinner and a movie.  He looks so handsome!

And I finally joined the rest of the generation by joining "Snapchat" and giggling incessantly at all the ridiculous functions it has.

Here's Presley starring in "A Wrinkle in Time"

  Maddox at his nerdiness

Mom and Maddox....born to be wild

Here's a fun eyebrow filter.  Look at those pretty eyes, tho!

This filter shows what he can turn into when he's really hangry

One of our favorite filters is the Face Swap filter.  I can really see just how old my face looks when I swap with other people

  Yikes!

I will say that this is my fave filter.  Look at that flawless skin.  LOVE!

And the very end of the month brought baseball season.  At this point we've cancelled more practices than we've had, but here's a pic from a pre-season scrimmage where Dylan got to pitch.  3 up, 3 down.  Let's play ball!

That's it for now!  See you next month where we head to Lincoln City for Spring Break, the baseball games begin, and Maddox starts spring basketball.  See ya then!
