May this year bring you more health and happiness than ever before.
Here's how our year started.....
This is technically a pic from New Year's Eve of Maddox and best friend, Ayden, at their 1st Winterhawks game. I love these 2 together and think they are such good friends for each other. Sadly, Ayden broke his finger in the 2nd basketball practice of the season and had to sit out almost every game. They still got to practice together, but it would have been better to watch them play in the games together. I guess I'll just wait until track season.
Due to the teacher strike from last August/September, we had an 8-day Christmas Break which flew by.
Within the first 3 hours of the kids back at school, I get a text from Anna informing me that Maddox chipped his tooth. After a few more inquiries, I learned that a bunch of kids were fooling around in the locker room and Maddox fell and when another kid landed on him, his tooth was chipped. I asked him to send me a pic and was horrified to see this:
This was SO MUCH WORSE than I had imagined.
Luckily, he got an 8am appointment the following day and he was looking better than ever less than 24 hours later. Whew!
Anna and I met for a Happy Hour gab-fest & discovered these Champagne Margaritas which were beyond fabulous.
That weekend Kaitlyn had a volleyball tournament near me and Presley and I got to watch her in action
Here's a pic I've been waiting 13 years for.....Maddox playing on the 7A team at Wy'east!
There are a ton of pics....can you tell how excited I am??? The team has only won 1 game at this point and it took a minute for Maddox to get his confidence, but as the month went along, he has made some 3-pointers, got 12 points in one game and started in some games. I love watching him!
Dylan chose for us to go bowling during our monthly Hangtime. We had a lot of fun, despite the fact that neither one of us managed to break 100 points on either game.
Afterward we grabbed a cookie and some Coldstone.
Other highlights that I don't have pictures of include: Dylan's Winter basketball season has started, Daddy reaching his weight loss goal by doing Keto, Dylan is doing some baseball conditioning on Saturdays to prepare for the upcoming Spring, Presley has learned how to do front-walkovers in her Tumbling class and Dylan committing to come to MY school, Shahala, next year instead of following Maddox to Wy'east.
That's basically it. The month was spent with driving all my kids around to various activities. We are excited for some warm weather and hope to take some good pics next month!
