May 2019 Recap

Hello there!  I spent most of this month running 3 kids back and forth between 5 different extra-curricular activities so this post will be even more scattered than normal.

Also, I took a lot of videos, which I'm unable to attach, so please know that the boys did some amazing things in track, baseball & basketball.  I got zero pictures of Dylan's track meet, but he got 1st place in 100m hurdles, 2nd place in 100m dash & 3rd place in the 4 x 100m relay.  Check my Facebook if you're interested in some live footage.

For Cinco de Mayo, Maddox celebrated by perfecting his crunchwrap, originally inspired by Taco Bell.  He loves these things & it looks just like the real thing!

Here's a pic of Coco & Diesel.  While they aren't often super snugly, they keep me company a lot of the time...they enjoy naptime.

My sis-in-law makes the most amazing desserts for our family gatherings.  For Mother's Day she created this ice cream trifle type dish that had cookie dough, brownies & a whole mess of other stuff.  It was ridiculous and delicious.

Although I didn't get a pic of Dylan's track meet, I stole this from EPS Facebook page.  The Mustangs are wearing red & if you click on the picture itself it is enlarged & you can spot Dylan standing up in the first few rows toward the right side

During the meet Presley had some one-on-one time with Grandma.  Does she look sad for missing Dylan's meet?

I may have already mentioned that Maddox made the cut and will be a WEB Leader next year for the incoming 6th graders.  He and the other Leaders enjoyed some team building activities one day during class.

Here's a pic of one of my favorite co-workers.  She likes to hi-jack my phone or computer to install new wallpaper.  I wonder if she spends too much time around middle schoolers....

I thought this sign was hilarious.  This girl loves her YouTube

For our monthly Hangtime, Dylan chose a date at Olive Garden.  He's always the first one to schedule a date and I love our personal time together

Here's Maddox doing what he loves best: playing basketball

One of these games he matched his career high of 17 points.

If Dylan doesn't have practice or a game, he'll join Maddox at practice (with Dylan's previous team and coach).  They may fight 99% of the time, but they adore playing together....not that they'd admit it.  Future Curry brothers????

Our brilliant and talented niece, Briar, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wazzu earlier this month & her ultra-generous parents treated us all to a fabulous celebration dinner.  Both the food and company were top notch.  We're so proud of this girl and can't wait to see her impact in the world.

Here's Presley doing her warm-up stretching for the annual Mustang Run.  She ran a ton of laps this year.  I believe she may have run more than Dylan even!

This is Maddox's favorite part of his Track Meets....hanging with all of his friends.  My favorite part is watching him run.  He's been so amazing this year!

President Rakoz presided over the Memorial Day Assembly.  He was very well spoken and kept things professional.  This is probably the last act as president he will have.  Hopefully his constituents won't give him a bad time for flaking on his campaign promises....

Here's little P enjoying the assembly.

That weekend was super nice so I took the kids + Ayden to Menchi's and the park.  I guess you're never too old to enjoy a good playground.

That's about it for May!  June is slowing down as we prep for summer break, but of course the driving won't miss a beat with all the camps the kids have coming up.  Until next time!
