JANUARY 2023

Happy 2023 everyone!  We had a pretty uneventful January.  That's not to say it wasn't extremely busy, but just a lot of the same thing. Here's the highlights:

This is Kaiah.  She only moved here a couple of months ago, but she and Presley became fast friends through some classes and the Dance Team. Unfortunately, Kaiah was relocating again and Presley had to say goodbye. She was a sweet girl. Luckily they are able to FaceTime and keep in contact.

Teague and I had an opportunity to attend a Blazer game against the Cavaliers.  As we walked around the concourse prior to the game we saw a favorite: Terry Porter!

I was thrilled to see that our seats were so close: 9 rows from the floor!  It was an awesome time.

The friend who sold us her tickets even caught us on TV

Presley and I have been extremely busy with Dance Team, including Saturday practices.

We've also been extremely busy with Cheer as the basketball games have started up.  This adds an extra element of fun to the activity.  She's doing awesome in both extra-curriculars.

Sometimes I get visits from high school students that used to attend here.  Here's one of my faves!

At the end of the month Presley performed in her first Dance Team competition.  Here she is in her Lyrical costume.  Her team got 1st place!

I should get a medal for holding out for over 2 months before scheduling a grocery pickup during one of Maddox's shifts.  He was the employee to bring my purchases to me and I couldn't resist snapping some pics.  He was so adorable!  He must have told his co-workers who I was because they kept looking over and smiling.  So much fun!

Dylan was really busy with helping the basketball team and early morning baseball conditioning so we don't see him too often.

Told ya I didn't have much this month!  'til next time.....
