November 2023

Hello!  Welcome back.  Here's what the Rakoz Family was up to in November (in no particular order).

Maddox's Senior year is getting busy with the fundraising and ordering to prepare for graduation and beyond.  He seems to waffle back and forth between not caring or planning for the future and nagging me to make sure his cap and gown have been ordered.  It's starting to feel very real (sniff, sniff)

Here's a cute pic of Diesel trying to open a leftover bag of chocolate

Dylan's JV Football season ended last month, but he was invited to practice and dress down with Varsity and squeeze a few more weeks out of his season.  It was an exciting time as the Thunder won their District division and a few games in the playoffs, before getting knocked out by Kennewick.

When teams head to State, they get a school sendoff.  This pic encapsulates the Football, Swimming and possibly Volleyball and/or Soccer (I can't remember).  Can you spot Dylan?

We have amazing friends.  More importantly, we have amazing friends that love wine and belong to many wine clubs and they invite us to tag along on their wine pickup parties and tastings.  This party was held at Edgefield McMenamins where we tried wines and appetizers before enjoying dinner at Black Rabbit.

You may not see this, but this picture shows me pointing out my party foul....red wine on my shirt

The grounds at Edgefield are so beautiful

After at least 3 weeks following Presley's last softball game, they finally had an end-of-season party.  This is Presley's favorite teammate, Aliya, who was their main catcher to Presley's pitching.  I hope they will continue to play together up through high school.

I asked them for an action shot and they assumed the position of each other.

Presley was very busy with her volleyball season.  The team struggles overall, but she has solid playing and her serves are nice and strong.  She's really enjoying it.

That's it for November!  Although there were only a few activities shown, they kept us very busy.  Tune in next month where I showcase the holidays and Maddox's 18th birthday!
