Happy February! I love the fact that February is such a short month...I consider it a blessing after how long January usually feels. Here are some highlights from the Rakoz fam in February.
I started my new job as Master Schedule Registrar at Union High School. I am absolutely loving it so far; this is exactly what I love to do. After many years, I am in my own office again (love!) and am in data entry/paperwork Heaven! While the new gig is challenging for Presley (who has to walk to school every morning) and myself schedule-wise, it's absolutely the right thing in the long run.
My daytime home.
My new school logo. My new school is the kids' biggest rival school so it's difficult to split my loyalty right now.
Presley and I do not have our set weekly coffee runs at Dutch anymore, but we always stop on Sticker Day
Mid-month we enjoyed a couple of days at home due to snow.
This is a post from Chloe on social media. Nice job Maddox
It wouldn't be a blog post without some precious photos of sweet Diesel
At work we had a Secret Titan event where we were given the name of another (participating) co-worker and showered them with kindness for a week. These are some gifts I received from my Secret Titan.
I definitely felt spoiled!
My Cheer Squad wrapped up the Boys Basketball season with double header win. Next up: Girls Basketball
Dylan started his new job referring for Hot Shots, a youth basketball league. So far he is enjoying it and hasn't been hassled by parents too much. This is an absolute perfect job for him!
Maddox had an exciting day buying a new (to him) car! He chose an Acura TL which Teague had previously owned years ago. No more fighting over the Veloster!
Look at how happy he is!
His car has yet to be named, but it doesn't stop Teague or I from making suggestions.
This car purchase has made a lot of things easier for the family.
Dylan started his 7-on-7 football tournaments this month as well. He is playing running back and receiver. These tournaments have shown us that Mt View is new to this world and have a lot of amazing competition, and I hope it helps prepare them for the fall season.
