Happy March! Here's what the Rakoz Family was up to this month.
I am knee-deep into Cheer season. Here's a pic of some of the girls on my squad.
This season Presley signed up to be a manager for the Wrestling team. She really had a lot of fun. In this pic she is taking photos for the yearbook at a women's tournament (she's in the very bottom left corner).
She has a pretty great eye for taking photos.
Maddox got his permanent license plates for his car, Boston
Here's a list of responsibilities the kids need to get done each week. It's hardly anything, but the amount of complaining is ridiculous.
Presley was invited to her 1st concert with her friend. They got to see Kelsea Ballerini
She came away with quite a few souvenirs....a t-shirt, sweatshirt, guitar pic and the set list!
We've been looking forward to Spring Break for such a long time. We stayed in town all week, but Presley and I made sure to have something fun to look forward to each day.
Saturday of Spring Break's activity was grilled cheesey goodness at Starbucks and hitting Hobby Lobby to craft patch sweatshirts.
This is definitely cuter than my Thunder Pod, but it doesn't look to resist the rain as well.
Some friends and I went to Edgefield McMenamins for a spa treatment and time in their soaking pool. This is our suite for the night. It was huge!
After our spa treatment and on the way to the pool I glanced at the wall and found pictures of my family hung up!
This is my Uncle Del who lived and worked on this property as a Farm Manager
Here's a pic of his wife, my Auntie Maxine
And here's a pic of them with their boys (my cousins), Dale, Darryl and Larry along with my grandparents, Guy and Opal Sexton! How crazy is that??!!
Here are a couple of pics of the soaking pool. It was pretty good size. I'm not sure what my fave part was: the fact that the water is 102 degrees warm or the fact there is a bar alongside? It was absolute heaven.
The small shed/building with the light was the bar where we indulged in freshly squeezed greyhounds.
The next day Presley and I went to NW Trendy-third to spend some time in Powell's Bookstore
Dylan has been practicing more with his 7-on-7 football team and having tournaments on the weekends.
This picture literally makes me laugh out loud every time I see it. Make sure to ask him the story behind this photo. His eyes hurt for days.
That's it for March. See you next month!
