April 2025

Happy April! Here's what the Rakoz Fam was up to.

Presley and I had planned a couple of weeks in advance to find one fun thing to do during Spring Break since we would be in town the entire time.

Of course an outing to Chipotle was a given.

We had a gorgeous sunny day during Spring Break, so Presley and I went on a waterfront walk with a visit to Salt n Straw while watching some sea otters.

Here are some S'mores cookies we baked

Dylan continues to participate in 7-on-7 tournaments on the weekends. Since the games are super boring, he advises us not to come and watch.

I bought tickets to the Blazer game back in the fall so long ago that we kind of forgot about it. Finally Dylan and I got to watch the last Blazer game of the season against the Lakers. Even though most of the major players from both teams were hurt or saving themselves for the playoffs, we had a great time...and a win!

Despite wearing a Kobe Bryant jersey, Dylan entertained himself by heckling Bronny.

We won?!

Because it was the last game of the season, we scored some commemorative glasses.

My Cheer Squad wrapped up girls basketball season by cheering in the District Championship.

We won!

I was able to catch a sweet hit at one of Dylan's baseball games.

Good Friday service at my Church. I love this event....so humbling.

Teague and I were at the mall one Saturday (which rarely happens). I steered us into H&M to see our favorite girlfriend-in-law. Luckily she was working!

Happy Easter!  Presley and I assembled a fruit/chocolate charcuterie.

Welcome Football season!

I got to sneak over to Shahala to watch Presley being celebrated by making Honor Roll for the 2nd Trimester

One update that is NOT pictured and is very heartbreaking: Dylan suffered a knee injury mid-month which ended up being the same meniscus tear he endured 3 years ago. While he is headed into surgery next month, we are unsure what procedure he will have or what his recovery journey will look like. We are trying to keep his spirits up. I will say that he is handling the news better than I am and I am proud of his outlook.
