June 2025

June is always a crazy whirlwind of things needing to wrap up, and this year was no exception. The days seemed to whizz by with the last days of my Cheer Squad, the final tournaments for Dylan's 7-on-7 team, and the last day of school. This month also had some fun beginnings (summer football) and events (Football Camp, Vacation Bible School). Here's how we spent the month of June.

Last Dutch Bros Sticker Day of the school year. Presley is going to miss this.

My last Cheer Party. Some of these girls I've had for 3 years!

Presley dropping off a homemade gluten-free cupcake for one of her favorite teachers

End of the Year 8th Grade Farewell at Shahala Middle School

Last Day of Junior Year (it is a tradition that outgoing juniors wear their Senior shirts on the last day of school)

Last Day of 8th Grade

This day is also the last time Presley has to ride to work with me before her school day.  It's been 6 years!

I just really love her face in this one

End of the Year Celebration for Union HS staff. Me and some of my fave co-workers toasted the last day of school with jello shots and enjoyed a super fun party

We attended an Ice Cream themed Gender Reveal Party for Baby Fairclough, who is scheduled to appear around Christmas

It's a Boy!

Dylan and Presley are both learning/teaching themselves the guitar. Luckily, Dad still had his Fender Strat up in the attic.

Dylan's 7-on-7 team got to play at Autzen Stadium @ University of Oregon so he had a pretty fun road trip. Sadly, Vinny was a little dehydrated on the way home which made for a longer drive. He's fine now, though.

Lunch date with Presley at Cameo Cafe on Juneteenth.

Dylan and his team enjoying the great weather swimming. Team bonding at its finest!

Dylan attended Football Camp at my Alma Mater, Western Oregon University!  I was so excited. Sadly, he wasn't 100% cleared to return to football after his knee surgery last month, but he still helped by working the drones. The weather wasn't that great either.  I used to cheer on that very track

Dylan even stayed in my freshman dorm! I asked him to take this pic for me.

Dinner Date with Teague @ Grassa. Man I love this place!

Presley volunteered at Vacation Bible School and had a wonderful time with her church friends helping out with the games station

Dutch Bros Merch Drop happened on an afternoon where Presley needed a ride home from Lacamas Lake. We had never been inside the Camas location before.

I was invited to a Girls Weekend in Bend where we hit a Food Pod, took the boat out to Prineville Reservoir and hit a trendy brunch spot called Swallow. I had a great time and was thrilled to be included in the fun

Presley and I are now members of Club Green Meadows Tennis Club. These courts and the pool is where you can find me all throughout July

That's it for June!  Enjoy the sun :)
