December 2017 -at-a-glance

The biggest news from December (but really, November 30th) was that we have 2 new kitties!  Our home is completely different with these brother and sister twins, but so much fun.  They are adorable and fun and precious and we are all in love!  Meet Coco and Diesel:

There are a lot of pics of them, I know, but the pics don't convey how small or adorable they are!  I had the most fun reveal video of me bringing them home to the kids as it was a total surprise, but I still haven't figured out how to post videos.  Also, as I type this, the cats are 3x the size it seems.  They're growing too fast already!

Here's cutie Dylan at his Christmas Concert.

  Here's some goofballs

Maddox really enjoys baking....especially the eating part, but he's pretty good at it.

Here's a pic of Dylan at his school's basketball tournament.  He scored 18 points in 2 games this evening and got a game winning buzzer beater.

Our Elf on the Shelf, Snowster, was up to his old antics again.  Seems he is a Basketball fan.

Each year Teague constructs a gingerbread house with the kids.

I was lucky enough to catch up with a dear college friend this month.  Most of my fave memories are with this girl and we literally chatted for about 5 hours!

We hosted Christmas Eve for Teague's family.  Coco made herself right at home.

We had another Cookie Decorating contest where Christmas movies were a popular theme.

I declared Uncle Jeff was the winner with his "Elf" cookie.

Here are a few more pics of our newest family members and how much they are loved by everyone.

Here's a fun pic of my and my babies on Christmas night

December also celebrated Maddox's 12th birthday.  The pic above was supposed to be a carefully designed mug with photos of he and I (at his request).  What ACTUALLY showed up was a mug with an ugly dog on it from Libby and Lucy.  WWWHHHHAAAATTTT????!!!!  Walgreens does it again.

Maddox chose to have one of his besties to spend the day with him.  They jumped at G6 for a couple of hours, then spent the day eating pizza and playing video games.

Later that week we went to the Adidas Employee Store to look for shoes.  We found great deals, but the line (& the store) were both INSANE!!!

On New Year's Eve we all went to the park so Dylan could try out his new drone and Presley could try out her new bike.  Both had a great time breaking in their new toys.  Presley is soo fast on her new ride...too fast to notice the garbage can on the turn....ouchie!

It was a whirlwind month and a bit exhausting to tell the truth, but the memories we created made up for it completely.

'til next month......
