September 2019

As I look back on all the September photos, I realize that we didn't really do anything too exciting.  I'm over a week late getting this post up so I'm not going to stress about getting these memories in order.  Here goes!

Teague and I enjoying McMenamins finest cuisine on a sunny Saturday.  The pretzel sticks with beer cheese fondue, cajun tots and a pint of Ruby with my sweetie is just about as good as it gets!

Every year we join with other Sausage Fest die-hards for the "Rest of the Fest" at the Brown residence.  This year was even more fun since I knew a lot of co-workers that I hadn't met until my job change last Fall.

Here's one of my favorite work peeps.

Here I am sitting in Maddox's seat in his Humanities class during Back to School Night at Wy'east.  They are currently finishing up "The Outsiders" and will watch the movie.  He tried telling me he considers himself a "greaser" which couldn't be farther from the truth.

Each year me and the kids join the Rivas's for the More than Pink Walk (formerly known as 'Race for the Cure') in Downtown Portland.  It rained the whole time, but our annual wrap-up at Olive Garden always keeps us in a good mood.

Here's a pic of me and Cecilia (another fave work peep).  By accident we were opposite twinning on school picture day....meaning my shoes matched her shirt and vice versa.  We posed for this Buddy Pic and it is now my screen saver.

Not pictured: Dylan joined the Flag Football Inter-mural team for a couple of weeks.  He has been waiting literally years to play football and I've held him off until this opportunity.  He seemed to enjoy it so we'll see if he still has the football bug when 8th grade tackle comes around!

That's it for September!  Told ya it was a pretty quiet month.

October Spoilers:
*basketball season starts
*Dylan's birthday
*Halloween
