July 2021

I love summer!  The weather has been amazing and I couldn't be happier.  This summer I planned to either play tennis or take out the paddleboard every day until I headed back to work.  This month I was staying true to this pact as well as having lots of birthday celebrations and catching up with some of my favorite friends.

Me and Presley have made it to Battle Ground Lake at least once a week....basically anytime the weather is over 90 degrees.  Here's a pic of me towing Presley and Sir Slothington III around the Lake.  My favorite way to spend the day!

Sometimes Michelle and Mia will join us and wrap up the fun with treats from Hockinson Market.

We like to call ourselves the Cheetah Girlz

I was spoiled on my birthday from these cuties with help from Teague.  The day started out with a doughnut run from Angel's Donuts.  Maple Bars never fail to bring the ultimate joy.

Next, I wanted to play tennis.  Here's a few action shots.

We've all improved this summer....even me!

Afterward we hit the Dutch Bros for my bday freebie

The next day Presley and I had lunch with Auntie Michele & Kaitlyn

That evening I was treated to Happy Hour with Michelle & Teresa at Dosalas where we overspent on drinks and snacks and soaked up the Miami vibe.  These girls are very treasured friends and I was grateful to celebrate with them.

This ridiculously tasty drink was called the Coco Chanel.  Love!

Warning: milestone moment.....

Metal Mouth #2    Dylan had some soreness for at least a week, but he looks adorable.

I was able to meet up with this OG for a hike and Happy Hour in Portland.  I sure wish she lived closer!

Love floating on the Lake with my ladies....lots of world problems being discussed here.

Teague and Ryan enjoying a new Porch Libation spot the Beardmores installed.  I look forward to enjoying many conversations here.

After missing out last year due to COVID, Dylan was able to participate in his favorite Union High School Basketball Camp.  He landed on the same team with some of his Track friends and they found themselves in the NBA Championship game.  Sadly they lost, but this kid earned Gatorades every day of camp from basketball trivia and Spotlight awards. He had an absolute blast.

His team was the Trailblazers

Hitting the Lake with Presley, Auntie Michele & Kaitlyn.  Can you spot the girls in this pic?

Warning: Milestone Moment

Are you terrified????

He looks right at home, doesn't he?  He's submerged in Drivers Ed and doing great.  He will be done with his classes by the time school starts.  If you see him driving around, please remember to give some extra grace as he gets more comfortable.

Michelle and I call each other our "Scary Movie Ride or Die" person.  We've waited so long to get back to the theatre and I had a great, albeit perplexing, time with her watching "Old."

That's it for July!  There were a lot of other super fun moments this month, but I neglected to document it with photos.  I'll try my best to do better next month.  Enjoy the rest of summer!
