Hi! May was busy with a lot of the same things that we've been doing all spring long. Here's a glimpse of a typical day in the life of a Rakoz:
Of course everything is color-coded. Lots to keep track of, but I hope the memories made during this hectic stage last forever.
I have my Cheer Squad come to the home Cross Country Meets whenever possible to support the runners. This season the weather was pretty hot during their meets so I would treat my cheerleaders to shaved ice as a thank you.
Once again I got to attend a field trip to the Oregon Tradeswomen Career Day to showcase technical jobs. It's pretty fun and those selected to attend always have a great time.
We visited the Hungry Sasquatch for pizza one Saturday....this is just 1 slice! This pizza here is so good.
Dylan loves to cook about as much as I do, but I'm trying to pass along a few recipes that he can manage so he can keep himself fed without always having to rely on takeout.
He can manage sloppy joes pretty easily.
One Saturday we helped the Beardmores put together a patio covering. It entailed multiple people holding large pieces of the roof overhead for enough time as it took for Ryan to screw the pieces together overhead.
Even Dylan got to use his muscles
The finished product warranted us tasty cocktails on a warm evening over Memorial Weekend.
Cheer season kept Presley and I extremely busy (including a 5 consecutive day stretch one week). The weather was very kind to us, which made everything so much more pleasant.
The last game we cheered at took place at Union high school for the girl's basketball consolation bracket. We won and finished in 3rd place in the district!
We were still busy with Presley's softball games. Here's an action shot of me keeping score.
Presley continues to be 1st in batting line-up and starting pitcher.
Here a couple of cute pics of Diesel
Could he be any more precious??!!
Amber joined Presley and I at Mt View for their spring musical "Mean Girls." It was so much fun!
And.......
the moment you've all have she has been waiting for.......
BEFORE
AFTER
We officially have all 3 kids in braces at the same time. Crazy!
