May 2024

May was crazy, as it always is.  Here are a few moments.

The first full week of May is Staff Appreciation Week and our super awesome PTO treated us with this "carb-cuterie board."  It was fabulous!

Wine Tasting with my favorites!  We went to Willamette Valley Winery and ended the evening at Wild Fin for dinner. Everything was fabulous.

May was busy with sports, as always. This year we were navigating Cheer, Softball and Seniors Baseball. Presley has been doing so great as pitcher and she's got really good chemistry with her catcher and fave teammate, Aliya

Dylan had a great season with the Seniors Baseball team through his Little League.  He had an opportunity to play with the kids he grew up with and help out in some different positions.  He mainly played shortstop.

And he helped out pitching as well.

Their team was really good and demolished all of their competitors, even winning the Mother's Day Tournament.  He's really improved a ton this year.

I am laying under the red plaid blanket.  Look at how close these two are???  That very rarely happens.

Every year I chaperone students from my middle school at the Oregon Trade & Career Fair and this year the high school was offering the field trip to Sophomores.  I basically told Dylan to go on this field trip so he could see all the career opportunities out there.....and so I could spy on him.

His chaperone was one of Teague's former Mt View classmates.

So happy I was there to capture this!

A lot of May was spent at Football games.

I did it!  I finally figured out how to post a video!  Here's one of my cheer squad nailing the flip line.  This was the last football game of the season

We all know how skittish Diesel is around anyone other than the 5 of us.  He has become accustomed to having Chloe around and Maddox was able to capture a pic of their growing bond.  Yes he looks terrified, but this is encouraging.

I had to drop something off at the high school for Dylan and the boys were meeting me, driving from the house.  I paused to catch this pic of Maddox and Chloe heading off.  They're so cute!

Somebody is FINALLY legal to drive himself around.  Click on the photo to zoom in for the smile.  So excited for this milestone!

Here is his first trip to the DMV. The picture license will arrive in the mail, but he is officially ready to go.

We are rapidly approaching Graduation and we are here for it!  Bring on the celebrations for my Senior!

That's all I captured for May.  In June Maddox graduates and we throw a street taco party to celebrate this huge achievement!  Hit me up for an invite
